We’re Off!

We’re off to see the Wizard, the wonderful Wizard of Oz! The Autumn at Oz information said to wear something Ozzy. So Lucy is dressed up in her apple shirt. I hope Dorothy doesn’t try to pick her.

It is supposed to be super cold on the mountain. I believe they had their first frost. At one point, there was a forecast for snow. But I don’t think that happened. They are predicting wind gusts of 40 mph. So I hope we aren’t blown away.

We are technically going to the Ballgame. But Lucy did find a Toto to bring with her. We weren’t able to find her basket. Although she does think that she is Dorothy with her pig tails.

Lucy has been studying the original Land of Oz map. I have been reading my journal from my trips to Oz in 1998 and 1999. Plus I’m about to dive into the papers I wrote for class. Although I may need some coffee first.

At this rate, I’m just hoping we will get to eat. We skipped breakfast and may not have time to eat and make it to our timed entrance. Fingers crossed. I’m starving.
