VBS Project 2: Jonah and the Whale
Day two was my big day. The only project I had really envisioned was the Jonah and the Whale story. I wanted to create a puppet of both Jonah and the whale. I even sketched my idea on the chalk board to show Henry exactly what I had in mind. Henry is my go-to people person. Not because he likes people, per se. (Or dislikes them.) But because he can draw people. I cannot draw faces. I told him once again that I married him because he was my illustrator. Remember Moses? How awesome was he?
The kids loved the project. I was relieved since I really hyped it up. I hope that you will love it, too.
Check out Jonah being swallowed and thrown up by the whale.
I forgot to take any pictures on Monday. But I did manage to take a picture of this completed project, which was left behind the day before.

Jonah was actually upset about being in the whale's belly.
I have hidden Jonah’s smile and uploaded all of the files. Download and enjoy. The directions are included on each page of the download. If you do create this project, please leave a comment sharing your experience.
