obsessed with cement
I created this logo for work today. I usually start with the photo and start pulling colors from the picture using the eyedropper tool in Photoshop. However today, I couldn’t find a background color that I really liked in the picture. Instead I was stuck on cement, one of Paper Source‘s custom colors. I love it. My favorite!
Until Christmas, I typically use the blossom A2 scallop card with the cement envelope. I bought several different colors of 4 bar cards for Henry to use as recipe cards. When I realized that he wasn’t going to use all of them, I bought four packs of cement envelopes to use with them.
Cement is the perfect combination of gray with a touch of brown. When I was a little girl, gray and brown were my favorite colors. My middle name is Gray and I had brown hair. Perfectly rational, of course!
According to the Paper Source colorscope, I am committed to making the world a better place. I have strong faith and a calming effect on my friends. That is very nice. I certainly hope that is true.
Now for my blossom colorscope: You are able to gently say the things that your friends need to hear. You have a lovely smile, but you need to smile much more often. You are too serious and you need to be more tolerant of failure – both in yourself and in others.
Interesting…
