Lucy at 27 weeks

Lucy is sitting on the floor studying her feet. I can’t believe she has made it this long without toppling over.

It is a dreary day in DC. She is getting over her first cold and I’m trying not to let mine settle in. I am sure it is the first of many colds we will share. Apparently children have six to ten colds a year. The good news is the more colds they have now, the healthier they will be as adults. Sorry I can’t recall my refernces.

I have just enough energy to leave the house, but I think that maybe I should save it up for next week’s travel. Not that I’m not going to leave the house between now and then. But I’m all out of Emergencee and chicken soup. Maybe we will go to the farmers market later.
