if you like to hear my voice {Corcoran Opening Tomorrow}

Tobacco Project from Caroline Armijo on Vimeo.

My tobacco rug is part of the Corcoran Printmaking Student Exhibition in the White Halls Gallery, which is located in the downtown school location. Okay, I am trying to be better and give at least 24 hours advance notice this time.

The audio cd will be playing the three audio stories that I wrote and wove into the tobacco rug. My hope is that the volume is not very loud, because it was almost unbearable to listen to my voice in class. But I know that a lot of people I meet are often entranced by my voice IF they can understand me. So this is your chance. If you can’t make it tomorrow night, be sure to drop by sometime before the exhibit ends on April 17th. The tobacco rug will also be on display as part of the Hybrid Book Fair at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia June 4-6, 2009.
