Help!
I have 22,174 pictures on my computer. Let me correct that. In iPhoto. Who knows what is hidden under my files from my old hard drive from NECTAC.
I know that this fact enrages my husband. Clutter is clutter, even if it is all contained in a slim little computer. And, well, I am going to try to back up these photos and post them to Flickr before it all comes crashing down. The way the beach ball is spinning on the screen, that could be momentarily.
So how did I get to this point? I can hear Henry about to explode telling me that I need to delete bad pictures. I started deleting them on my camera, but then I found that I had a back up on my camera and just downloaded everything. And let’s face it. Babies look like someone else from every other angle. It is a tough dilemma, but one I hope to work through soon.
Lucy and Granddaddy before returning to DC
Maybe I should simultaneously work forwards and backwards, meaning that I make sure everything has been posted since Lucy was born, while also posting photos from 2005. And then deleting them off of the computer for once and for all.
We received a new iFlip camera for Christmas, which I am very excited about. We were able to capture a lot of great videos from Grandma’s funeral. In fact, I hit record and propped in the window and caught the entire funeral inside of the church. Heather gave an amazing eulogy, so it was nice to be able to listen to it once again.
“I’m with Dad! Enough with these pictures!”
But our computers are too old for the software. So I have been checking out MacRumors regularly, waiting for the unveiling of the latest MacBook Pro. I seriously hope that it comes at the end of January. I can’t stand it any longer. How will the new tablet impact my decision? I have no idea. We will have to wait and see.

Hilarious image of photo fatigue of baby Lucy!

You need a photo organizer like Picasa or ACDSee. They're great to use and you can actually find the photos you're looking for when you need them.
