Happy Easter!
Today when I was driving back to Greensboro, I thought how lucky we are to live so close to home! Lucy was able to participate in an Easter egg hunt in Greensboro and one in Friendship with a nap in between. And Henry was able to take the kids to mom and dad’s so that I had a chance to clean up a little after they left.
While we were at mom’s, we walked out to the Handy House, a house my parents inherited in 1968, to check on the progress of its makeover. I always find such peace walking around Friendship. I looked for one of the shriveled old-fashioned daffodils to show Hailly. I also noticed violas in some pots around the old well. Spring is my favorite time of year. All of the blooms are breathtaking! What a spectacular drive back home.
