Since the service included communion, it was important to keep the table open and hang the piece in the baptistry. The passover door was painted based on my studying Chinese Brush Painting over the last year. I used a simple khaki paper fixed to two rolls. I also used watercolor ink to capture the vibrant colors of the red blood painted over the door posts for Passover.
