I loved the warm glowing color of the tracing paper. I wanted to create a large bag of rice. However, this project needed to be a temporary solution. I was concerned that it would attract unwanted visitors to our sanctuary, later in the library. I filled the bag with rice and buried a silver cup inside.

Later I returned to the project and added “rice” by including a sheet of Japanese rice paper to the bag and a silver cup, using a shimmery silver paper filled with another textured Japanese paper.
