As we begin our transition back to a routine, I am turning my attention to my first outdoor art installation.
I wrote a poem while in Florida and now it’s time to start creating the panels of laminate plastic. Tomorrow I am traveling to Moratock Park to figure out if there is an easy way to hang them by the Dan River.
When I originally posted the poem on Instagram, I called it The Ode to the Dan River. But based on the magic of creating art, I believe the name is really By the Waters of Moratock.
I have a pretty good idea of how this is evolving, but you never know. I am feeling restless as I need quite a bit of time at a color copier. I am looking forward to what comes up in the image transfer process.
