Sick + PEACE
This little guy has the croup. He started gasping for air a couple of hours after Henry left for a week in Oxford, England as part of a moot court competition. He looks pretty gooey today in his face with his eyes and nose running.
We have been so thankful for Heather, who has taken Lucy to school the last two days!! And to Lucy who didn’t wear tights today for the first time since… Maybe New Year’s? I have no idea.
I had a delightful 40th birthday. In an age of selflies, I thought no one is taking my picture. Not even my dad, which is unheard of. Thank you for all of the birthday wishes. I could definitely feel the love.
After we got the kids in bed, I read a book about the ONE WORD practice. On Sunday, I wrote in my journal to discover my one word while Lucy and Oliver napped in the car. As I entered the house, I wondered what is my one word? And instantly I knew it was peace.
Peace will be the basis of my fourth art work from my Souvenir Series. I know the city is Copenhagen, but that’s about it.
So here’s to a year of finding PEACE.
