Lucy on the Big Screen
We are back in DC after a very long day on the road. In case you missed it, Lucy and I made two out of four lead stories on the local Winston-Salem newscasts last night. Woo-hoo!
Thanks to Jennifer, my spokesperson, in this video. Although she didn’t exactly pronounce my last name right. Mom reassured her that it took her a while to get it. It is pronounced “r-ME-ho.” Armijo. It’s Spanish.
And let’s not forget Renee! She brought us her latest business venture of homemade deodorant, which I will be blogging more about it in the future!
I will add that we do know Chad Tucker, the reporter for the first story. He went to high school with Alex and is an outstanding reporter. Congratulations to Chad, who recently won an Emmy.
OMG… could this piece win an Emmy? I may have ruined his chances by pulling my pants up. I obviously didn’t realize I was being recorded.
As I described in last night’s second live-action post, Lucy, Kimberly and I were featured in this second video. This is the online article from WFMY. I am thankful that the reporter edited my comments, which she obviously wasn’t able to do with my audio quote.
We are thankful that Lucy decided to smile for the second shot. Or else her dreams of stardom would have been completely dashed.
Henry says that I may be losing a little bit of my accent. And I thought that watching Madhouse each week was only reinforcing it. If I close my eyes, I can imagine that Burt Myers is my cousin Bradley. They sound almost exactly alike.
Lucy and I had a lot of fun at the opening of the BB&T Ballpark. I am positive that we will be back. Granddaddy bought a lot of tickets. We can’t wait.
