Lucy at 23 Weeks…

and a day. I deleted the title “How are we going to survive this one?” But I imagine that it, too, shall pass sooner rather than later.

Lucy at 23 Weeks...

Lucy is rolling over like a champ now. I found her rolled over and crying this morning in her crib for the first time. These pictures are from her nap. Or attempted nap.

Since today is the first day of her rolling over in her crib, I may look bedraggled in a few days as she continues exploring her new skill. I bought the crib because it was small and rolls through doorways, but I found her fifteen minutes ago with her face planted in the rails. She needs to be placed closer to one side so that she has room to roll over. (And no, I haven’t rolled the crib out of her bedroom, but it is super easy to roll and find her paci.)

All of this leads to a blog entry I started last Monday and have yet to complete. Maybe this will motivate me to share what I’ve learned about disrupted sleeping patterns and developmental stages before the day is over. I predict that I’m going to need easy access to the developmental chart.
