Lucy at 10 Months

Today is Lucy’s 10 month birthday. Since we also sprung forward, the entire family slept in until 11 am. Yikes! We hope that next spring’s time change won’t be so exhausting.

Since Grams loved last week’s video shoot so much, here is another video.

Last night I discovered that Lucy’s first tooth had broken through the gum. I found it when trying to remove some paper from her mouth. That’s when Henry told me that he had seen the tooth several days ago on the video. And that he had told me. How did I miss this? Watch closely at :27 seconds.

Was I just so enamored with Veronica’s dancing that I totally missed Lucy’s tooth? How was that possible? I just couldn’t believe it. But look at this picture, which is not incredibly clear. But look. There is no visible tooth!

Yes, my first tooth is finally here.

Yes, my first tooth is finally here.

We forced her mouth open last night and we could barely see a jagged little edge. Her first tooth is her bottom left tooth. Maybe that is food stuck on the little tooth. Who knows?

Regardless, we are off to visit the Adamses, with whom we actually spent Lucy’s 9 month birthday.

And a special birthday wish to Rick and Sue, as well.
