Garden Wish List: “Garden Treasure” Hosta

I have neglected my yard for quite sometime now. In my final stages of pregnancy, I realized I don’t have to have this finished before the baby comes. And I found peace with totally ignoring the weeds and overgrown beds.

Antonio is returning next week and I wish I had already started a garden wish list long ago. He loves working outside and I have come to realize that I feel to guilty to not work right along side him. I am going to embrace it. I hope to plant some new plants where you he cleared out the Vinca Major on his last visit. Good thing he did because my yard would be completely covered by now.

I spied this Hosta in the Greensboro Arboretum Hosta Collection on a family evening walk. The Arboretum is the perfect place for a stroll after dinner when we need to burn a little more energy. I like to take note of the plants I want to add to my yard. I particularly like the painted look of the bright green edges on the dark leaves. I don’t know why I don’t really like the smaller variegated leaves with white accents. But these strike my fancy.
