Fantastic Man
About this time ten months ago, we all snuggled up on the hospital bed to finish watching an episode of Mad Men.
We had started it that morning around 6:50 whole waiting for Heather to arrive. By 6:55, I could not sit any longer. I knew it was too late and I needed to get to the hospital as soon as possible. She was afraid when, too, when I got in and back out of the car twenty minutes later. Long story short, Oliver arrived before Lucy was dropped off at school.
It was a rainy evening just like tonight (minus the ice). So I’m longing for a movie night since Lucy is at Grandma’s.
I was feeling so good that night, like I was totally in control. Then I flushed a washcloth down the toilet. Okay, so maybe I was a little out of it.
This morning I tried to teach Oliver how to kiss. I kept puckering in hopes that he would reciprocate. Then we heard Lucy head down the stairs. He started jumping towards her and tried to kiss her. The same little attempt Lucy did four years ago. Second attempt was a loving headbutt.
Today we visited ArtQuest while Lucy was in ballet. Our first trip to a play space solely for Oliver to play. And this morning we danced around the kitchen to our favorite new song. I love this little Fantastic Man.
And if after hearing that you are curious about William Onyeabor, here is a bio pic for you to enjoy.
