So far this year, I have been playing with watercolors. I got this calendar as a Christmas gift from Henry. Watercolors are so great. They are totally portable and create so many different looks. Plus they have a very easy clean up. This calendar by Dennis R. Pendleton has a different lesson/line drawing of a painting per day. So it is a little paint by number sans the numbers. Each Saturday and Sunday includes the color images of the painting you are trying to emulate. My favorite time to paint is while Henry is preparing dinner in between doing my chores as the sous chef.
