We had a delightful birthday celebration for Henry at his Dad’s new favorite DC restaurant, 2 Amy’s. We went wild on the apps, so I only could finish half my Margherita Extra with arugula. I will miss lots of DC restaurants, but I may pine for 2 Amy’s the most. Henry needs to hurry up and get to work on that backyard wood-burning pizza oven he wants to build.
Dad was not impressed with our rendition of Happy Birthday To You. By the way, that’s what’s left of Lucy’s fifth slice of her pizza, though she is still eating marinara pizzas with no cheese.
